Rainey Property Management is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for our affordable housing communities in Austin. You will perform repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, respond to resident requests, and ensure safety and comfort in our properties.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of maintenance experience, good communication, and a customer-service mindset. This on-site role requires reliable transportation and a willingness to participate in after-hours on-call

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of hands-on property maintenance experience; affordable housing experience a plus.
• Training or certification in building systems, HVAC, or trades preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and independent work capability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Mansioni

• Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
• Respond to resident work orders promptly and complete repairs professionally.
• Diagnose issues and determine appropriate repair methods.
• Replace fixtures such as faucets, outlets, lightbulbs, locks, and cabinets.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Assist in unit turnovers and maintain common areas.
