Job summary

Legacy is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for a 315-unit cooperative in Lansing, Michigan. You will perform general maintenance and repair tasks, complete residential work orders, and help maintain grounds, including seasonal snow removal.

The role requires experience in multi-family maintenance, strong customer service, and excellent communication. Must be able to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and emergencies outdoors in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience with multi-family maintenance including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Customer service attitude in all interactions with staff and residents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be flexible to weekends, evenings, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair duties for a 315-unit cooperative in Lansing, MI.
• Complete residential work orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain property grounds, including snow removal and grounds cleanup.
• Collaborate with other staff and departments to ensure responsive service.
