Job summary

NRP Group in Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping to uphold curb appeal and apartment quality. You will handle preventative repairs, respond to service requests, and assist with renovations per company standards.

Under supervision, you will communicate safety concerns, maintain storage areas, and support the Community Manager with scheduling, supplies, and weekend/on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CFC Universal Certification preferred, must be obtained within 90 days.
• At least 3–4 years of maintenance experience and basic computer skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial services as assigned.
• Maintain storage areas and materials; refurbish/renovate apartments per standards.
• Walk property daily to ensure curb appeal and quality of apartments.
• Notify Community Manager of safety concerns; participate in safety meetings.
• Assist during Supervisor absence; schedule staff and vendors; order supplies.
• Handle after-hours emergency service requests and weekend work as scheduled.
