Independent Management Services is seeking a maintenance professional to support our multifamily communities. You will handle resident service requests, perform preventive maintenance, and recondition vacant units.

The role includes grounds care, on-call duties, inventory monitoring, and seasonal snow removal across our Detroit-area properties. Ideal candidates are customer-service oriented with basic maintenance knowledge (plumbing, repairs) and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualificações

• Must be customer service oriented.
• Working knowledge of basic maintenance concepts (plumbing, repair, etc.).
• Ability to prioritize work orders and projects based on need.
• Possess a high degree of troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Responsabilidades

• Complete resident service requests and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Timely reconditioning of vacant units, including painting, basic repairs, and cleaning.
• Ensure property grounds are well-groomed and free of litter and unsightly garbage or clutter.
• Perform after-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call duties in rotation with other Maintenance personnel.
• Respond to all resident requests to ensure 24-hour emergency service.
• Monitor inventory and maintenance supplies, as necessary.
• Snow removal includes salting main roads, walkways, and parking areas throughout the community.
• Create and maintain a well-groomed community appearance.
