Job summary

Draper and Kramer Mortgage Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a multifamily property in Aurora, Colorado.

The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager and centers on completing work orders, maintaining common areas, responding to emergencies, and assisting engineers as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in multifamily facilities, HVAC or related skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in multifamily facilities.
• HVAC Certification or equivalent experience.
• Light plumbing, electrical and HVAC skills.
• Ability to be on-call.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-starter capable of multitasking.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with holidays, weekends and nights as needed.
• Good time management and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with staff, vendors, contractors, and residents for safety, cleanliness and upkeep.
• Respond promptly to emergencies per documented procedures.
• Prepare incident reports, perform fire safety inspections, snow removal and janitorial support.
• Complete service requests in common areas and units promptly.
• Prepare apartments for move-ins and repair/replace unit mechanicals as needed.
