Job summary

Waltonwood is seeking Maintenance Technicians to perform maintenance across grounds, building exteriors, community areas and resident units. You will troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, prep units for new residents, and work to maintain a safe, clean environment for residents and staff.

You will be part of a team reporting to the Maintenance Director, participate in on-call rotations, and assist with grounds care, snow removal, and general repairs to ensure high resident

Qualifications

• Familiar with HVAC and electrical systems.
• Experience and/or formal training in an applicable trade.
• Working knowledge of common appliances and devices.
• Must pass internal Maintenance Technician exam.

Responsibilities

• Assist the maintenance team with unit prep, model upkeep, snow removal/salting, appliance install/removal, and basic repairs.
• Maintain preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Identify and remove hazards to staff, residents, and guests.
• Walk through and prepare units for new residents.
• Lead minor work orders such as repairs, paint touch-ups, and on-call tasks.
• Support IT with basic technical issues as needed.
• Keep grounds and landscaping meticulously maintained.
• Ensure the community is clean and perform janitorial tasks when required.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff.
• Be part of the on-call rotation within the department.
• Complete all other duties as assigned by Maintenance Director.
