Job summary

Waltonwood Maintenance Technicians are responsible for all maintenance services within the grounds, building exteriors, community, and parking lots, creating a safe, comfortable and clean environment for residents and staff.

This role repairs and maintains HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, and supports grounds and equipment, working as a team with strong time management and problem-solving skills, and reporting directly to the Maintenance Director.

Qualifications

• Must be familiar and know how to work with HVAC and electrical systems safely.
• Experience and/or formal training in an applicable trade.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the maintenance team with unit prep, appliance installs/removals, and minor repairs.
• Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Prevent hazards to staff and residents by addressing tripping hazards and safety issues.
• Walk through units for new residents and lead on minor work orders when assigned.
• Support IT with technical issues and keep grounds and landscape well maintained.
