Job summary

Group Five Management is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Supervisor in Howell, MI to lead maintenance operations across our apartment community. The role blends hands-on technical work with oversight and requires a capable leader to use modern property management systems.

You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate vendors, and ensure timely, quality unit turns while embracing new technology and mobile apps for real-time documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in multi-family housing.
• Strong leadership, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Commitment to quality work and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations and apartment make-readies.
• Lead and perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and repairs.
• Coordinate vendors and manage electronic purchase orders.
• Maintain up-to-date unit turn status on the make-ready board.
• About 25% of time on administrative computer work.
• Use company systems for procurement, unit tracking, and inspections.
