Job summary

CloudTen Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a 200-unit community in Berkeley Heights. You will supervise maintenance staff, schedule preventive tasks, and ensure timely completion of requests while controlling expenses and maintaining safety protocols.

The role requires 2–3 years in property maintenance and supervisory experience, plus proficiency in MS Office. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of property maintenance experience in a community with approximately 200 units.
• Two to three years of prior supervisory experience.
• One-year certificate from college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient at Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of property maintenance, including preventive, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance staff; coordinate with the Property Manager to hire and review staff.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance requests (within 24 hours unless delays are communicated to residents).
• Maintain inventory control of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Adhere to monthly preventive maintenance directives for safety and life safety hazards.
• Assist with capital improvement projects and maintain safety policies.
