Job summary

The Morgan Group in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a full-time Maintenance team member to support multiple properties. You will follow established manuals, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and provide dependable service to residents and staff.

The role covers plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, appliance repair and monitoring safety. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, and work outdoors in various conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Certification.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience in property maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to MORGAN’s Maintenance, Emergency Procedures, Leasing and Marketing, Management and Operations manuals along with the Team Member Handbook.
• Perform all tasks in a safe manner and provide customer service.
• Handle service requests, apartment turnovers and assist with outside vendors as assigned by the Lead Maintenance.
• Assist in all phases of apartment and property maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, electrical and heater maintenance, painting, etc.
• Maintain an organized work place and shop.
• Report parts or supplies that need to be ordered to the Lead Maintenance.
• Inventory supply shipments and puts away stock, giving packing slip to the Community Manager.
• Report issues involving safety, property maintenance and unresolved maintenance issues to Lead Maintenance in a timely manner.
• Assist in the upkeep of the exterior and interior of the property.
• Responsible for vehicle (golf carts) and pool/spa maintenance and upkeep.
• Ensures lighting replacement and trash maintenance of outside grounds.
• Comply with all training requirements set forth for this position.
