Job summary

RADCO is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Marigold in Charlotte, NC. The role requires hands-on skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs, with 1–3 years’ experience and HVAC/EPA Type I/II (or Universal) certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of maintenance experience, ideally in multifamily properties.
• HVAC/EPA Type I and II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, appliances and general maintenance.
• Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail.
• Able to work nights, holidays and weekends when on call.
• Valid driver's license; may use personal vehicle for parts procurement.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws, OSHA and EPA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Keep property well maintained and address safety concerns promptly.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment as directed.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance issues.
• Move and transfer appliances; assist with moving abandoned items.
• Complete service requests within 24 hours when possible.
• Respond to on-call emergencies; on-call bonuses apply.
• Communicate clearly with residents, vendors, and colleagues.
• Support team goals and adhere to RADCO standards.
