Job summary

RADCO is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Residences at Riverdale. The role focuses on keeping the property well maintained, addressing safety concerns, and performing routine preventive maintenance under supervision. The candidate should have 1–3 years of maintenance experience and HVAC/EPA Type I/II or Universal certifications.

This position may require night, holiday, and weekend work with on-call bonuses. A valid driver’s license may be required for property-wide tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in multi-family.
• HVAC/EPA Type I and II or Universal certifications required.
• CPO certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, appliances, roofing and general maintenance.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Must be available to work nights, holidays and weekends.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws, OSHA and EPA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the property is well maintained and address safety concerns.
• Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnose and perform minor maintenance including HVAC and pool tasks if applicable.
• Move appliances between storage and apartments as needed.
• Complete service requests within 24 hours.
• Respond to on-call emergencies with after-hours coverage and on-call bonuses.
• Communicate clearly with residents, prospects, and visitors.
• Support team with additional tasks as required.
