Job summary

Milhaus is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and grounds across our Class A residential assets. You will collaborate with Milhaus teams, vendors, and residents to ensure safety, quality, and timely service.

The role requires at least one year of relevant maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license. HVAC certification is preferred and on-call duties may apply in this dynamic, fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Minimum one year demonstrated experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• HVAC Certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable private transportation
• English language proficiency both written and verbal
• Knowledge of Equal Housing Opportunity requirements
• Ability to operate a two-axle motor vehicle
• Must lift up to 50 pounds
• Operate tools to perform essential functions
• Familiarity with OSHA and safety standards
• Able to work in all weather and maintain 24-hour on-call status

Responsibilities

• Receives service work orders and completes tasks within 24 hours
• Polices grounds daily and as needed
• Refurbishes vacant units within five days or less
• Performs painting, cleaning, and grounds work as needed
• Plants, prunes, weeds, and maintains foliage
• Operates mechanical or electrical equipment and garden tools
• Assists with preventive maintenance and inspections
• Reports property losses or liability incidents promptly
• Reports injuries promptly
• Complies with regulations and company policies
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
