Arnold Grounds Apartment Management is seeking dependable, skilled Maintenance Technicians to service multifamily apartment communities in the St. Louis, Missouri area. The role focuses on maintaining safety, appearance, and resident satisfaction across properties.

Ideal candidates have hands-on maintenance experience and a commitment to quality workmanship and customer service, with duties including make-ready, preventive maintenance, and after-hours on-call support as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment, multifamily, residential, commercial, or general maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance.
• HVAC/EPA certification is preferred but may not be required for all positions.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
• Ability to prioritize multiple work orders and assignments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform general maintenance repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, and other building systems.
• Assist with apartment make-ready and turnover preparation for new residents.
• Diagnose maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance throughout the community.
• Maintain common areas, building exteriors, grounds, mechanical areas, and maintenance facilities.
• Conduct inspections and identify potential maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain tools, equipment, supplies, and maintenance inventory.
• Respond professionally and courteously to resident maintenance concerns.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies as required.
• Follow company safety procedures, policies, and applicable housing requirements.
• Assist the Community Manager and maintenance team with property-related projects as needed.
