Job summary

Goldberg Companies | GCI Residential in Raleigh, NC seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a multifamily maintenance team and own the day-to-day operations at Legacy North Pointe, ensuring residents experience a safe, well-maintained community.

You will oversee repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances, and building exteriors, prioritize work, mentor staff, and coordinate with the Property Manager and vendors to uphold high standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of multifamily apartment maintenance experience.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Professional electronic communication skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with ability to build relationships with residents, vendors, and team members.
• Flexible to non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support maintenance team with clear direction and priorities.
• Schedule and coordinate service to maintain appearance, functionality, and safety.
• Provide technical and project direction while managing competing priorities.
• Respond promptly to residential service requests with hands-on repairs.
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliances.
• Identify upcoming maintenance needs and plan projects and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor expenses and ensure efficient use of maintenance resources.
• Partner with the Property Manager to uphold high community standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with residents and vendors.
