Job summary

American Property Management, Inc seeks a dependable groundskeeper for The Woodland Apartments, a 224-unit garden-style community built in 2012. The role is on-site with a Mon/Wed/Fri 8am-5pm schedule and a requirement to live within 30 miles of the property.

Compensation ranges from $20 to $21 per hour, with monthly bonus incentives. Responsibilities include outdoor maintenance, customer service to residents, and coordination with the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in multifamily or hotel groundskeeping or landscaping.
• Experience and willingness to work outdoors is required.
• Experience providing great customer service to residents and/or customers is required.
• Experience using power washers, leaf blowers, and other landscaping tools is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Fluent in English, with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants and vendors.
• Maintain timecards and reports.
• Maintain work and storage area in an orderly manner.
• Maintain dumpster areas and buildings daily to preserve curb appeal.
• Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of community amenities including pool, fitness center, and outdoor areas.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure contracted landscaping services meet standards.
• Clean and maintain community restrooms daily.
• Maintain pool/spa area by cleaning, sweeping and related tasks.
• Assist with painting, cleaning and general maintenance tasks as directed.
