Job summary

Roers Companies seeks an experienced Estimator to join our team in a role that supports multifamily construction projects. The Estimator will collaborate with architects, engineers, and vendors to deliver accurate preconstruction budgets and cost-saving options.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years estimating or project management experience, a bachelor’s in construction management, and proficiency with Procore and MS Office. This position requires strong organization and an ownership mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field.
• 5+ years of estimating or project management experience in multifamily residential construction.
• Knowledge of building codes, ADA laws, and value engineering.
• Procore and MS Office proficiency; ability to produce detailed estimates.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with architects and engineers to value engineer cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare bids and aggregate estimates for all project disciplines.
• Evaluate alternates on project specifications to provide owner options.
• Lead the estimating effort with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.
• Review construction docs, perform takeoffs, and develop budgets from concept to detailed estimates.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing.
