Job summary

Berkshire Residential Investments is seeking a Construction Manager to own and drive capital and redevelopment projects for Berkshire-owned or operated apartment communities. The role reports to the VP of Construction Operations and involves coordinating scope, budgets, and schedules across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of construction management experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a collaborative work style.

Qualifications

• At least two years construction management experience.
• Aptitude for organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple priorities with problem solving.
• Demonstrated multi-modal communication style with excellent verbal and written skills.
• Ability to communicate with and manage up to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple capital projects and redevelopment of multifamily properties.
• Assist in development of scope of work and due diligence for acquisitions.
• Coordinate and share redevelopment plans with operations teams to set vision and expectations.
• Develop multiple improvement scenarios based on market research and directives.
• Engage with redevelopment contractors/vendors early for bidding and strategy.
• Create and implement execution strategies and schedules for redevelopment.
