Job summary

The Carroll Companies in Greensboro, NC seeks a Project Manager to oversee day-to-day execution of multi-family apartment construction projects, coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and staff to deliver on time and within budget while upholding CIP’s quality standards.

You will manage permits through final occupancy, supervise the superintendent, review pay applications, coordinate design issues, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on site, with 25% travel.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of multi-family apartment construction experience.
• Ability to manage multiple crews and schedules on-site.
• Strong coordination with architects, engineers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules on assigned multi-family sites.
• Participate in on-site project meetings with subcontractors.
• Visit project sites regularly to inspect quality and sequencing.
• Coordinate design issues with Architect and Civil team.
• Review monthly pay applications for accuracy and work in place.
• Ensure construction documents meet project specifications.
• Monitor progress to keep subcontractors on schedule.
• Communicate issues or concerns promptly.
• Coordinate utilities, and design of electric/cable access.
• Expedite submittals and RFIs with subcontractors.
• Prepare monthly progress reports and turnover to owner.
• Resolve disputes professionally to maintain relationships.
• Review subcontractor change requests and third-party inspections.
