Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Construction Project Engineer in Boston, MA. This full-time role focuses on coordinating submittals, managing project documentation, and supporting subcontractor and change order processes to keep multifamily developments on schedule.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with strong organization, communication, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field.
• Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience supporting commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, or related construction projects.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project documentation processes.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage submittals, shop drawings, samples, and related approvals throughout the construction process.
• Maintain project records, including plans, specifications, contracts, RFIs, change documentation, and as-built drawings.
• Track and distribute project information to internal stakeholders and trade partners.
• Support the administration of subcontractor agreements and change orders.
• Assist with project requisitions, invoicing, and payment processing.
• Manage closeout documentation, including operations and maintenance manuals.
• Track jobsite purchases and rental equipment.
• Help ensure compliance with permitting and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate punch list activities and project closeout efforts.
• Maintain project safety documentation and records.
