Job summary

BBSI Southern California is seeking a self-sufficient Construction Project Manager to lead ground-up multifamily and commercial projects in the Greater Los Angeles area from preconstruction to completion.

You will coordinate multiple subcontractors, manage schedules and budgets, review plans and change orders, and communicate with owners, developers, architects, and engineers. Travel as needed; benefits included.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience in multifamily construction.
• Knowledge of ground-up construction processes and sequencing.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and priorities.
• Self-sufficient, proactive, ownership of projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with Sage, Bluebeam, or Togal is desirable.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel across Greater Los Angeles area.

Responsibilities

• Manage ground-up multifamily and commercial projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Coordinate multiple subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and field teams.
• Maintain project schedules, budgets, contracts, and cost controls.
• Review plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity, quality, and schedule compliance.
• Lead project meetings and communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders.
• Identify potential scheduling, cost, and constructability issues before they affect the project.
• Support procurement, subcontractor buyout, billing, forecasting, and project closeout.
• Travel between project sites throughout the Greater Los Angeles area as needed.
• Maintain company standards for safety, quality, professionalism, and client satisfaction.
