Job summary

Greystar is offering a Summer Internship in the multifamily construction industry. You will gain hands-on skills while supporting Greystar’s portfolio of multimillion-dollar projects as an in-house general contractor, with emphasis on open communication, quality, and attention to detail.

You will work on project controls, planning meetings, and preconstruction tasks, collaborating with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, time-management, and project management skills.
• Ability to track, report, and manage multiple projects and priorities with deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork with owners, architects, subcontractors and leaders.
• Attention to detail and focus on quality.
• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related major.
• Graduating between December 2027 and May 2029.

Responsibilities

• Assist project team in managing the overall site, subcontractors, and inspection of completed work.
• Handle project controls management, including RFIs, submittals, document management, change management and quality control.
• Participate in project planning meetings and reviews.
• Assist the preconstruction team in performing quantity take offs, developing bid packages, soliciting bids, and preparing estimates.
