Atlantic Housing Foundation, Inc. is seeking an Associate Asset Manager to support the financial, operational, compliance, and risk oversight of its multifamily portfolio. The role collaborates across departments and with lenders, investors, and partners to strengthen long-term portfolio performance.

The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and eager to grow in affordable and multifamily asset management, working closely with senior leadership and Property Management to drive results.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of asset management or real estate finance experience.
• Experience with multifamily properties and LIHTC/HUD programs preferred.
• Strong ability to interpret financial statements, budgets, and KPIs.
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis for portfolio reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support asset management of assigned multifamily properties, focusing on financial performance and risk management.
• Review monthly/quarterly financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and occupancy trends.
• Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards for portfolio performance.
• Coordinate reporting to investors, lenders, and other stakeholders.
• Assist with budgeting, capital planning, and insurance/risk management activities.
