Job summary

Highlands Vista Group (HVG) seeks an Analyst to work closely with management to oversee a portfolio of multifamily properties and assist in asset business plans and acquisition activity in a defined region.

You will create and update financial monitoring tools, draft quarterly investor reports, conduct site visits, negotiate capital work, and support due diligence, closings, and relationship building with brokers and owners. Strong analytical and communication skills, plus proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or related field.
GPA of 3.5 or higher.
0-2 years of analytical experience; multifamily preferred.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
Strong communication with internal and external parties.

Responsibilities

Create and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly financial monitoring tools.
Draft quarterly investor reports detailing distributions and property operations.
Conduct quarterly site visits with onsite staff and review capital work.
Develop asset business plans and oversee operations and capex.
Assist in budgeting, vendor negotiations, and cost savings.
Present acquisitions internally and submit letters of intent.
Oversee due diligence and closings for new acquisitions.
