Job summary

The Acquisitions Analyst/Associate at The NRP Group LLC will support evaluation, underwriting, and execution of multifamily real estate opportunities in a newly created platform. You will build models, conduct market research, and assess feasibility across acquisitions and development, working with cross-functional teams to drive growth.

As the first dedicated investment hire, you will screen opportunities, develop institutional underwriting, and carry deals from initial review to closing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Accounting, or a related field required.
• Typically 2–5 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, development, investment analysis, financial modeling, or related analytical role preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including cash flow modeling and sensitivity analysis; proficiency in PowerPoint.
• Understanding of IRR, equity multiple, capitalization rates, NOI, and discounted cash flow analysis.
• Familiarity with CoStar, Yardi, and underwriting software or market research platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain institutional-quality financial models for prospective multifamily acquisitions and development opportunities.
• Review memorandums, rent rolls, and broker packages; screen deals against investment criteria and provide go/no-go recommendations.
• Evaluate project feasibility and returns using IRR, equity multiple, NOI, cap rates, and DCF analyses.
• Prepare sources and uses and perform sensitivity analyses to assess rents, costs, rates, and timing.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and third-party professionals to gather data and prepare investment committee materials.
