Job summary

TrustBank in Tuscola, IL seeks a Universal Banker to provide a full range of banking services for individuals and commercial clients. You will greet customers, direct them to the proper department, and deliver New Accounts and Teller services while cross-selling bank products.

You will support branch operations and uphold exceptional customer service. The position requires High School education, cash handling skills, and accurate transaction processing.

Qualifications

• High school education is required and on‑the‑job training will be provided.
• Experience in sales, relationship management, and cross selling is desirable.
• Detail‑oriented with cash handling accuracy is essential.

Responsibilities

• Open and close bank when needed.
• Remain flexible to scheduling during Tuscola hours.
• Ensure customers receive prompt and courteous service.
• Answer phone inquiries.
• Balance drawer cash and vault cash.
• Run teller transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Process night drop deposits.
• Approve checks within limits.
• Assist customers with account problems and onboarding.
• Open new accounts and provide loan applications as needed.
• Cross-sell bank products to customers.
• Issue and redeem certificates of deposit.
• Maintain compliance when opening/closing accounts.
• Handle ATM/Debit card requests and data updates.
• Process check orders for personal and business use.
• Attend bank meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain transaction and over/short reports.
• Balance cash shipments with Fed.
• Promote TrustBank values and service standards.
• Assist with monthly reports and community representation.
