Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a Skills Coach in Child & Family Developmental Services in Evansville, IN to coordinate multidisciplinary services for identified children and families and to collaborate with community partners. The role includes case management, skills training, and development services in office, home, and community settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice or related field.
• Experience working with children with Dual Diagnoses of Serious Emotional Disturbance and Neurodevelopmental Disorder preferred.
• Ability to assess emergency situations and respond therapeutically.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance meeting state minimums; qualify for company's vehicle liability insurance.
• Background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate services for children and families referred to Development Clinic; communicate with all treatment parties; identify needs and facilitate referrals.
• Assist with low barrier access to services.
• Provide community-based skills training and development services.
• Maintain records, develop treatment plans and goals with families/referral sources.
• Submit reports on time; screen for appropriate services and coordinate with community agencies.
• Attend team meetings and advocate for families with complex needs.
• Participate in ongoing staff training and development.
