Job summary

Memorial Community Health, Inc. is seeking a Medical Technologist (MT) to join its hospital laboratory team in Aurora, Nebraska.

The MT will work across Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Serology, Microbiology, Blood Bank, Urinalysis and Phlebotomy, performing testing and maintaining documentation. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or CLS/MLS and completion of an accredited MT program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Medical Technology, CLS, MLS or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited MT/CLS/MLS program.
• Ability to work across multiple laboratory disciplines and locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing according to established procedures and protocols.
• Work across multiple laboratory disciplines: Hematology, Chemistry, Immunoassay, ABG, Urinalysis, Hemostasis, Transfusion Services, Serology, Molecular Diagnostics, Phlebotomy.
• Conduct chemical analysis of body fluids to identify normal and abnormal components.
• Perform specimen collection via venipuncture, capillary or finger stick, heel puncture and radial arterial collection.
