Job summary

Pay ranges from $18.00 to $25.00 per hour with 1st Shift duties. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of forklift experience, and forklift certification. Strong safety awareness and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of multidirectional/side-loader forklift experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments.
• Forklift certification required.
• Experience safely handling long/oversized materials preferred.
• Knowledge of safe material-handling practices.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, physical, and related tests.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate multidirectional forklifts to transport, load, and unload materials.
• Move steel, lumber, fabricated components, and other long or oversized materials.
• Maneuver bulky materials through narrow aisles and confined areas.
• Perform daily pre-shift forklift inspections.
• Report equipment or maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Assist with inventory control, order picking, and staging materials for production or shipment.
• Maintain accurate material movement records using scanners or inventory systems.
• Follow OSHA requirements and company safety procedures.
• Use required PPE and follow proper load securement procedures.
• Coordinate with production, shipping, and supervisory teams to maintain efficient material flow.
