Job summary

RRD is seeking a forklift operator for our production and manufacturing site in Texas. The role runs first shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 10 hours, with duties including moving materials, loading/unloading trailers, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Compensation ranges from $16.50 to $18.00 per hour, with a base pay that may be supplemented by overtime and shift differential. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k) with match.

Qualifications

• Skilled in starting, stopping, backing, and driving forklift or clamp truck through aisles and ramps.
• Knows forklift dimensions and lifting capacity for safe handling.
• Ability to judge doorway/aisle dimensions to fit loads and equipment.
• Can determine load balance and whether the forklift can safely lift the load.
• Familiar with warehouse layout to locate/place items with minimal instruction.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods within warehouse or factory.
• Load/unload from semi-trailers; maintain accurate inventory and report discrepancies.
• Load/unload materials onto pallets; perform safety checks on lifts.
• Lubricate, recharge, fuel, and maintain forklift equipment as needed.
