Job summary

U.S. Ski & Snowboard in Park City, Utah, is seeking a Manager of Special Events for multiday programs.

You will own end-to-end production, from venue blocks to on-site execution, budgets, and vendor management, ensuring flawless multi-day events for partners, donors, and board meetings. Responsibilities include leading end-to-end production, managing budgets, coordinating with departments, and ensuring successful multi-day events with domestic and occasional international travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years producing multi-day conferences, summits, or similar group programs; CMP or similar preferred.
• Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Sports Management or similar area preferred.
• Comfortable negotiating vendor contracts and managing a budget.
• Strong project management under deadline pressure.
• Able to travel domestically, and occasionally internationally, up to 35%.
• Valid driver’s license; passport required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end production of multi-day gatherings including Partner Summit and Board meetings.
• Manage group hotel blocks, venue contracts, and on-site logistics across multiple days.
• Oversee gifting and develop F&B for multiday events.
• Coordinate agenda, content, and speaker logistics with stakeholders.
• Own event budgets and track expenses against targets across the program.
• Collaborate with Communications/Marketing on promotion and content.
• Partner with Hospitality for on-the-ground support and VIP/donor events.
• Coordinate athlete appearances and engagement strategies.
