Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Multicraft Technician to maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems across our plant. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, participate in safety and quality initiatives, and support process improvements with data-driven insights.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, the ability to read diagrams and instructions, and a commitment to keeping plant assets in peak condition.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must show proof of authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1–3 years maintenance manufacturing experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Utilizes machines and tools to perform maintenance tasks and predictive maintenance.
• Keeps plant assets optimized and meets manufacturing needs.
• Provides support and leadership to other craft and non-craft employees.
• Plans and performs operational maintenance including lubrication.
• Acts as trainer for trainees and other craft personnel.
• Communicates issues to management and suppliers.
• Develops and maintains skills through on-the-job learning.
• Uses SAP for records, work orders, and data management.
• Uses basic carpentry and electrical repairs as needed.
• Works with mobile equipment like forklifts and cranes.
