WestRock is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, test, and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Welding and machining are a plus. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, PLC experience, and a focus on safety.
Expect to work off-shift in a unionized manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include diagnosing equipment malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance, training staff, and maintaining accurate maintenance records.
The Maintenance Technician maintains, tests and repairs electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components, welding and machining a plus. Applies knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation. Provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of manufacturing for the unionized plant. Position will be on an off shift.
The starting rate is $38.87 - 44.15 per hour, depending on your role, level, and location.
