Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Manchester, PA seeks a Multicraft Mechatronics Technician (Automation & Utilities) to maximize uptime and optimize assets across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support installations, startups, and shutdowns, collaborating with Production, Engineering, and Quality to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial/food production.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.
• Blueprint, wiring diagram, schematic, and technical manual literacy.
• Comfort with hand/power tools, precision measuring tools, and diagnostics.
• Self-starter with solid organization; collaborative team player.
• Flexibility to work OT, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Support plant shutdowns, changeovers, and special initiatives.
• Keep work areas organized, clean, and compliant with standards.
• Adhere to safety, food safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

Multicraft Mechatronics Technician (Automation & Utilities) - Manchester, PA

Help us maximize uptime, optimize assets, and maintain a safe, efficient operation. If you’re a hands-on problem solver with a passion for diverse systems-from pneumatics to PLCs-this role is built for you.

Role Snapshot

• Maintain, inspect, repair, and adjust production machinery and facility systems.

Nice to Have

• Education/training: Maintenance, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, Electrical Technology, or related.
• Experience with PLCs, automation, VFDs, robotics, and industrial controls.
• Skilled trade certifications (Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Welding, etc.).
• Food manufacturing background and GMP knowledge.

Physical & Environmental Expectations

• Active role: standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing for most of the shift.
• Regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Work at heights and within confined spaces when required.
• Consistent use of PPE.
• Manufacturing setting with exposure to moving equipment, temperature swings, noise, and industrial chemicals.
• Safety comes first - follow all company safety, food safety, quality, and environmental standards.
