Multicraft Maintenance Technologist — Corrugated PackagingDirect Hire | Lancaster, PA | 2nd & 3rd Shift | $32.21/hrA day in this roleAs the plant transitions into the evening, you’ll step onto the floor ready to keep production humming. You’ll move from a preventive maintenance checklist on a flexo folder-gluer, to a rapid diagnostics call on a rotary die cutter, then finish the night fine-tuning an air compressor and boiler system. Along the way, you’ll read prints and schematics, swap bearings and seals, chase intermittent electrical faults, verify sensors, and lock out/tag out equipment so teammates can work safely. When there’s a breakdown, you’ll be the calm in the storm—isolating issues, repairing or replacing components, and documenting the fix. Training is built in, so you continuously expand cross-craft capabilities.Schedule & pay details2nd shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM | 3rd shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AMMonday–Friday base schedule$0.40/hour shift differentialWeekend work is common—typically about two Saturdays each monthTime-and-a-half applies after 8 hours in a day, after 40 hours in a week, and for weekends and holidaysWhat you’ll maintain and improveCorrugators, flexo folder-gluers, rotary die cuttersUtilities: boilers and air compressorsMechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic subsystems across the facilityCore responsibilitiesTroubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic componentsPerform preventive maintenance and respond to live production breakdowns with urgency and precisionCollaborate on cross-discipline work; share knowledge and participate in structured trainingWhat you bring2+ years repairing and troubleshooting industrial machinery (B-level or higher; A-level preferred)Mechanical know-how: bearings, shafts, seals, gearboxes; ability to read diagrams and schematicsElectrical capability through 110–240V single phase; motors, wiring, sensors, and panel troubleshooting480V three-phase familiarity is a plusWorking knowledge of hydraulics and pneumaticsWilling and able to work 2nd or 3rd shift with some weekend coverageCorrugated packaging or printing background is a strong plus, not a mustA technical degree in mechanical or electrical trades is a plusLegal/eligibilityAuthorized to work in the USPhysical demandsStand and walk for extended periodsClimb ladders; access tight or confined spacesLift, carry, pull, and push up to 50 lbsUse required PPE: safety vest, eye and ear protection, steel-toe footwearWhy Pro ServicesMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k)Paid training that progresses your skill level and pay rateTool stipend for your personal hand tools; specialty and heavy tools providedSafety shoe and safety glasses stipendsCompany-provided uniformsTechnical strengths we valueElectrical Troubleshooting SkillsMechanical Troubleshooting Skills120/208/240/480 Voltage SystemsHydraulics ExperiencePneumatics TroubleshootingIndustrial Electrical ExperienceLockout/Tagout (LOTO)Electrical Schematic ReadingReady to build something real?
