Your Responsibilities
- Identify, resolve, and rebuild mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components to help maintain peak operational efficiency for the entire facility.
- Oversee the maintenance of our corrugator and converting machinery, including specialized equipment like Bobst folder gluers, Sun and Ward die cutters, and various material handling systems.
- Execute a balanced mix of reactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance tasks, with a focus on keeping production downtime to a minimum.
- Perform critical repairs on gearboxes, conveyor systems, and shafts, utilizing heavy equipment to ensure safe and effective component installation.
- Ensure all machinery is properly configured and calibrated to help guarantee consistent product quality across all shifts.
- Utilize electrical schematics and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and replace motors, drives, and sensor arrays.
- Maintain essential site infrastructure, including pumps and steam-based systems, to support continuous plant operations.
- Manage hydraulic system repairs to help prevent leaks and ensure the longevity of our heavy-duty equipment.
- Complete scheduled maintenance tasks and provide detailed hand-offs to the 1st shift to ensure seamless operational continuity.
- Uphold rigorous safety standards and maintain a tidy workspace to help create a secure environment for all personnel.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience at the A or AA level within a manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated mechanical proficiency with bearings, shafts, gearboxes, and the ability to interpret mechanical prints.
- Intermediate electrical skills, including confident use of meters and the ability to follow complex electrical diagrams.
- Proven experience in the installation and programming of various drive systems.
- Competence in rigging heavy components using forklift equipment.
- Experience with the setup and precision calibration of industrial machinery.
- Foundational knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with steam system operations to assist in site maintenance.
- Basic digital literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to help you adapt and find solutions when initial repair strategies need adjustment.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety compliance.
- Ownership of essential personal hand tools.
- Flexibility to work 3rd shift, including weekends and overtime as required.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Skills
- PLC troubleshooting experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens platforms.
- Advanced mechanical rebuild capabilities.
- Experience with VFDs, servos, and HMI interfaces.
- Competency with control voltages and high-voltage three-phase systems.
- Advanced expertise in hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting.
- Experience with various pump types including centrifugal and air diaphragm.
- Background in paper, packaging, or GMP-regulated environments.
- Exposure to CNC machinery or robotics.

Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly pay ranging from $36.47 to $39.61 based on experience, plus a $0.35/hr shift differential.

Schedule and Environment

- Occasional lifting of 51–100 lbs is required for equipment maintenance.
- Work surfaces may include irregular, hot, or vibrating areas.
- Mandatory PPE includes steel-toed boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, and specialized gloves.
