Coca-Cola Consolidated in Sandston, Virginia, is seeking a Mechanic Manufacturing II to repair and maintain all facility assets. This role responds to breakdowns, performs planned and unplanned work, and supports safe, efficient production while following SOPs and engineering specifications.

The position requires reading manuals, performing PMs, troubleshooting, and making mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic adjustments.

Qualifications

• Read and follow SOPs or instructions.
• Computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Competency in monitoring and adjusting equipment speeds, temperatures, and liquid levels.
• Identify and troubleshoot complex process issues.
• Make mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic adjustments.
• Preferred ability to read blueprints, electrical prints, and machine schematics.
• Ability to comprehend complex processing equipment.

Responsabilités

• Ensures operation of machinery by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors, and production machines.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation and using testing instruments.
• Monitors and maintains equipment by completing PMs and work orders; records parts usage and inventory.
• Controls downtime by informing production workers of preventive maintenance and assisting production to keep line running smoothly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
