Job summary

Genie Matthews and Associates is seeking a skilled Machine Repair Technician for our Hastings, Michigan facility. You will maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC-controlled equipment on multi-shift operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Apprenticeship orJourneyperson certificate preferred.
• Experience as a Machine Repair Technician in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and automation systems.
• Troubleshoot low- and high-voltage electrical equipment including motors and sensors.
• Read drawings and schematics to install, repair and commission equipment.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS and support continuous improvements.
