Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions’ Hastings, Michigan client, a global manufacturing business with a century of excellence, seeks a Machine Repair Technician to maintain safety, reliability, and performance of industrial equipment. This multicraft role requires strong mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Apprenticeship in machine repair or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Journeyperson certificate preferred.
• Experience as a Machine Repair/Industrial Maintenance technician in manufacturing.
• Strong multicraft maintenance experience in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical systems.
• Experience troubleshooting low- and high-voltage electrical equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics and diagrams.
• Experience with CMMS and safety protocols (Lockout/Tagout).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and automation faults.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, motors, sensors, relays, switches, panels.
• Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Install, relocate, and commission production machinery.
• Maintain safety with guards and LOTO procedures.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS.
• Support upgrades and continuous-improvement projects.
