Job summary

Owens Corning in Mount Vernon, OH, seeks a Multicraft Technician responsible for reliability, repair and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing plant. This role includes predictive maintenance, safety, quality, and plant efficiency improvements.

The position reports to the Maintenance Leader and follows a 5:30pm–5:40am, 2/2/3 shift rotation with every other weekend off, with comprehensive benefits listed below.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must show proof of authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1–3 years maintenance manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes machines, equipment and measuring instruments for maintenance tasks and predictive maintenance.
• Provides support and leadership to other craft and non-craft employees in maintenance tasks.
• Plans and performs operational maintenance, including lubrication, on machinery and equipment.
• Repairs and maintains electrical and control systems, including PLCs and instrumentation.
• Ensures safety policies, industrial housekeeping and teamwork with plant leadership.
