Job summary

4 Corner Resources is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a large fabrication and machine shop in Appleton, WI. This hands-on role covers CNC machines, presses, brakes, weld cells, and material handling systems on a Monday–Friday 1st shift.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, perform precision work, and support installations using electrical schematics and OEM manuals. OSHA safety and lockout/tagout procedures apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting across multiple systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and OEM documentation.
• Experience with hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain fabrication and machining equipment (CNC, presses, brakes, shears, weld cells).
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues; perform precision alignments and gearbox work.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and relocations using schematics and OEM manuals.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting up to 480V including motors, drives, starters, and control circuits.
• Assist with PLC troubleshooting and follow lockout/tagout and electrical safety procedures.
• Maintain building systems (HVAC, compressed air, plumbing, lighting, doors, docks) and light office maintenance.
