Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Greenville, TX is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to maintain, install, troubleshoot, and modify manufacturing equipment at the Greenville plant. The role includes electrical wiring, power-up, troubleshooting, and verifying machine settings, plus mechanical testing and preventive maintenance on site.

Ideal candidates will have training in machine/electronics fields and 2+ years in manufacturing, with experience reading electrical schematics.

Qualifications

Training/certification in machine-specific and electronics fields preferred.
2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
2+ years of electrical schematic experience preferred.
Ability to read rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
Working knowledge of AC/DC motors.
Basic safety training and ability to work with hand and small power tools.

Responsibilities

Maintain, install, troubleshoot, and modify manufacturing equipment.
Electrical wiring, power-up, troubleshooting and verification of machine settings.
Perform mechanical testing and preventative maintenance onsite.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
Operate scissor lifts and forklifts as needed.
Travel to other plants as necessary.
Support building and facility systems maintenance.
