Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a maintenance technician for the West Valley City area to troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic components, diagnose electrical systems, and support overall equipment reliability. The role requires adapting to a shift schedule and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to maintenance calls, and apply multi-craft skills to maximize efficiency and safety across production lines.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• Weekend and holiday work required.
• Able to lift 15–50 pounds with or without help.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Able to climb, bend, reach, and stretch as needed.
• Able to work in environments with extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain manufacturing equipment to keep production running safely and reliably.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and pumps.
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using schematics and testing equipment.
• Use preventative maintenance systems and work orders to support equipment reliability.
• Respond to maintenance calls, inspect machines, identify needed repairs, and take corrective action.
• Apply multi-craft maintenance skills to maximize equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and safety.
