Job summary

PepsiCo in Rosenberg, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair and maintain manufacturing equipment to keep production running safely and reliably. You will diagnose electrical systems, install pneumatic/hydraulic components and support equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be available to work on weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch.
• Willing to work where temperatures are extreme and equipment is hazardous.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment to keep production running safely and reliably.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and pumps.
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using schematics and testing equipment.
• Use preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking to support equipment reliability.
• Respond to maintenance calls, inspect machines, identify needed repairs, and take corrective action.
• Apply multi-craft maintenance skills to maximize equipment efficiency, safety and uptime.
