Job summary

Walmart in Charleston, SC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance on facilities, equipment, and fixtures. You will inspect, repair, and document maintenance activities, escalating issues as needed to ensure safety and compliance.

The role requires 2 years in electrical trades and a valid electrician license. You’ll manage work orders, collaborate with managers, and participate in an on-call rotation to support critical needs after hours.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in the electrical trade.
• Licensed Journeyman Electrician or equivalent in state of work.
• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• License in related trade in city and/or state of work.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and aesthetics of facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Inspect, clean, and repair facilities, equipment, or fixtures and document wear.
• Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractors; coordinate with managers and partners.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA regulations and Walmart standards.
• Lead and participate in teams; communicate priorities and ensure timely, high-quality maintenance work.
