Pro Services is partnering with an aerospace casting facility in La Porte, IN to staff a Maintenance Technician II. This contract role requires broad mechanical and electrical skills, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to move across shifts as training completes.

As a Pro Services employee, you’ll work onsite with the customer’s maintenance team, handling a variety of equipment and safety procedures within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• 4+ years electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience with control voltage, single phase, and 480V three phase.
• Meter proficiency, including Megger use, and cabinet troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with motors, relays, wiring and sensors.
• Intermediate mechanical skills including rebuilds, bearings, shafts and seals.
• Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• CMMS experience and ability to document work.
• Ability to operate single-man scissor lifts and read/write basic math.
• High school diploma or GED; US work authorization; no visa sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Reactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems from 0–24V through 110–240V and 480V three phase; identify faults with meter and Megger.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, relays, wiring, and sensors.
• Tr oubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLC hardware hands-on; software-based issues handled by automation.
• Rebuild mechanical devices and inspect bearings, shafts, seals, and gearboxes.
• Work on pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including pump rebuilds and valve work.
• Install, assemble, inspect, and test machinery and equipment.
• Identify, specify, and use spare parts; document work in CMMS.
• Communicate with operators and collaborate with engineering on complex issues.
