Mittera Arlington is seeking a Sheetfed Second Press Operator to assist with setup and operations of a printing press, ensuring jobs meet customer specs and deadlines while maintaining quality and minimizing waste.

Responsibilities include reading job tickets, performing make-readies, and aiding the Press Operator. The role requires ability to work under pressure and adhere to safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3+ years experience as a multicolor second press operator preferred.
• Strong reading and interpretation of job tickets, layout sheets, and artwork.
• Solid color management and basic math for color adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand job tickets, layout sheets, and artwork before starting.
• Know setup and maintenance procedures for the entire press.
• Program color standards into CPC and adjust colors accordingly.
• Achieve color OK to proofs under supervision.
• Maintain ink and water balance for print quality.
