Job summary

Goodwill is seeking a Production Associate to handle donations for online sales in a fast-paced retail setting. You will perform data entry, create item photos, stock, pick, and assist on the sales floor while delivering friendly customer service to donors and shoppers.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate listings, inventory, and adherence to policies, with opportunities to train others and support management in multichannel operations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience with data entry and photography is a plus.
  • Strong computer and typing skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Uses keywords in auction titles and takes clear photos with complete condition details.
  • Inventories, picks and prepares outgoing multichannel product per guidelines.
  • Ensures product postings follow guidelines and laws; supports management in resolving issues.
  • Attends trainings, runs multichannel reports, and shares information in team huddles.
  • Trains teammates in multichannel processing and donation evaluation for online sales.
  • Maintains equipment and reports needs promptly.
  • Keeps workstations and areas clean, safe, and organized.
  • Provides excellent customer service to donors and customers.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:Production position in a fast-paced retail store environment. Responsible for advanced processing of donations for online sale including, but not limited to: data entry, cell phone photography, stocking, picking, and customer service. May also be required to accept and process donation for the sales floor, assist on the register, and with other sales floor tasks.

Essential Functions Statements:

  • Uses appropriate keywords in all auction titles, takes clear, representative photographs of items, and includes all relevant information and condition details in auction descriptions.
  • Accurately inventories, picks and prepares outgoing multichannel product according to guidelines.
  • Provides quality control for multichannel product and ensures all posted items follow marketplace guidelines, GISD’s policies/procedures, and state/federal laws.
  • Works with management to identify and resolve multichannel processing, listing, inventory and customer services issues.
  • Attends trainings/meetings, runs multichannel reports, and supports multichannel awareness and enthusiasm by presenting relevant information during team huddles at management direction.
  • Supports management in training fellow team members in the basics of multichannel processing and identifying the donations best suited for online sale.
  • Properly uses and maintains multichannel equipment, reporting supplies or other needs in a timely manner.
  • Meets multichannel production requirements and keeps up with the average worker on their team when assigned other tasks.
  • Safeguards donations and company property. Keeps workstations, sales floor, processing, and donation areas clean, safe, and organized.
  • Assists in different areas of the store as assigned, providing excellent customer service to customers/donors. Refer to management any concerns or complaints.
Qualifications

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Product Knowledge of Collectables, Books and Media: PreferredOther Requirements: General computer and typing skills preferred.
