Job description

Position Objective:

Responsible for the quick and efficient movement of product from the production area to the sales floor. Expected to process using One Touch System production standards which focuses on moving the product.

Essential Duties:
  • Process wares, softlines, or bin using current organization pricing guidelines.
  • Ability to make decisions quickly.
  • Ensure donated goods are processed correctly between saleable, e-comm, trash, and salvage using the One Touch System.
  • Meet minimum processing standards for quantity of saleable items
    • Wares: 63 per hour (unit pricing or good, better, best pricing)
    • Softlines: 50 per hour (good, better, best pricing)
    • Bin: 1 rack per 1.5 hours.
  • Meet minimum standards for quality of saleable items processed. Less than 10% of items are pulled during a quality audit.
  • Preserve the value of donated goods.
  • Work with clients and employees in a respectful and professional manner.
  • Follow all safety policies and guidelines.
  • Keep work area neat and organized.
  • Complete assigned training.
Essential Skills:
  • Alignment with Mission, Culture, and continuous improvement
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of collectibles or antiques preferred
  • Basic digital literacyStrong sense of urgency

Education:

Basic reading, writing, and math required.

Work Environment:

Plant environment with frequent exposure to lint and dust generated by handling donated clothes and goods. Standing for extended periods of time and occasional bending and twisting, with ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The employee is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; frequent talking and hearing, and use of close, distance, color, and peripheral vision and depth perception. Occasional travel within territory for training.
