Job summary

Family Security Credit Union seeks a Floating Teller to work in various branches, assisting members and performing transactional duties with accuracy while maintaining exceptional member service standards. The role involves handling deposits and cash transactions, balancing drawers, and cross-selling credit union products.

Responsibilities include greeting members, processing deposits and withdrawals, posting payments, and keeping up-to-date with policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• One year of cashier or teller experience (past five years).
• Intermediate PC knowledge with basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to travel and work at different locations daily.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members with courteous, professional, and timely service.
• Receive checks and cash for deposits, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals after balance verification.
• Process mail: postings, deposits, and branch shipments as applicable.
• Maintain knowledge of credit union products, services, policies and procedures.
• Promote and cross-sell credit union products and services.
• Receive and process loan payments.
• Balance cash drawer and research discrepancies with Head Teller or Branch Manager.
• Ensure teller station is stocked with supplies for daily duties.
• Adhere to robbery procedures and branch security guidelines.
